IFCA, Indian Friends for Culture and Arts, is a dynamic socio-cultural organization based in the UAE, fundamentally dedicated to empowering the Indian community through the core pillars of culture, unity, and service. Our vision is to empower every individual within the Indian community by actively promoting these cultural values, fostering unity, and encouraging service engagement. Building upon a rich 30-year legacy of community engagement, previously conducted under the names MAS and MACS, the organization has now consolidated its diverse activities under the unified banner of IFCA. This strategic unification allows IFCA to leverage the strength of its growing membership, now exceeding 5000 individuals across the Abu Dhabi region, effectively serving the community through established chapters in key locations including Abu Dhabi, Mussafah, Baniyas, and Al Ain, ensuring a broad and impactful reach for its programs and services.
Core Activities & Focus Areas:
• Value-Centred Cultural Programs: Dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of both India and the UAE through cultural events, workshops, and exchanges, fostering mutual understanding and respect.
• Social Empowerment Initiatives: Focused on uplifting individuals by providing support for job creation, skill development, and building self-reliance and confidence within the community.
• Public Service Activities: Actively participating in various community service projects, including healthcare drives, awareness campaigns, and collaborative efforts contributing to the well-being of society.
• Embassy Coordination: Collaborating closely with the Indian Embassy to build strong rapport, access available resources, and jointly plan community programs serving the broader Indian population in Abu Dhabi.
• Youth and Mahila (Women) Empowerment Programs: Hosting specific empowerment programs aimed at supporting and inspiring the youth and women within the community.
• Sports Activities: Organizing sports events and activities for members to encourage healthy living, physical fitness, and community bonding.
